Study in Bosnia & Herzegovina 2026
The Ultimate Gateway to Europe – Official AA Study Consultant Guide
Strategic Advantages for 2026
In 2026, Bosnia has become the most viable alternative for Pakistani students. While appointments for Germany, Italy, and Latvia are hard to get, Bosnia offers a 95% success ratio. It is a high-demand destination with a direct border to the Schengen Area (Croatia), making it a perfect starting point for your European career.
🔴 Mandatory Requirements: IELTS & PTE
Attention Students! Do not get confused between University and Embassy rules:
- For University: Some universities may accept an English Proficiency Certificate (MOI).
- For Embassy Submission: IELTS or PTE is MANDATORY. You cannot submit your visa file in Pakistan without a valid test score.
- Acceptable Level: Minimum B1 Level (Equivalent to 5.0 – 5.5 bands in IELTS) is required for embassy clearance.
*AA Study Consultant strongly advises having your B1 Level ready before applying for the Viber Letter.
Embassy Process in Pakistan
A major benefit is that the Bosnia & Herzegovina Embassy is present in Islamabad. There is no need to travel to third countries like Dubai or Turkey for visa interviews. The process is straightforward, and appointments are currently available for 2026 intakes.
Ministry Viber Letter
The university applies for an Official Invitation Letter (Viber Letter) from the Bosnian Ministry. This letter acts as a pre-approved security clearance. Once issued, your visa is almost guaranteed, provided your IELTS/PTE (B1 Level) is in order.
