Bank Statement Masterclass
The Financial Blueprint for Study Visas 2026
Why 90% Students Fail?
Visa officers don’t just check how much money you have; they check how you manage it. Awais Chaudhary explains why a 50-page statement is better than a 1-page summary.
The 6-Month Build Up
Planning to study abroad? Start working on your bank statement 6 to 12 months in advance. Do not wait for the admission letter.
⚠️ The Risk of Delay:
If you deposit money at the last minute, the embassy considers it “Borrowed Funds” and may reject your visa.
Volume vs. Value
Embassies like Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia look for account activity. A statement with many transactions (40-50 pages) proves the account is real.
How to create activity?
- ✔
Stop using Cash: Use your card for groceries and shopping. - ✔
Pay Bills Digitally: Electricity, gas, and internet bills should go through the bank. - ✔
Small Amounts Count: Even a transaction of Rs. 50 is a valid entry.
Justifying Big Deposits
If you need to deposit a large amount (Lump Sum), you must provide an “Audit Trail” (Proof of Source).
📄 Selling Property?
Attach the Sale Deed / Registry.
🚗 Selling a Car?
Attach Transfer Letter + Buyer’s Cheque Copy.
💍 Selling Gold?
Attach Official Jeweler’s Receipt.
After Applying
Myth: “Don’t touch the account after submitting the file.”
Reality: You MUST keep the account active!
You can withdraw and deposit money, as long as you stay above the Minimum Required Balance. Continuous activity shows the embassy that the account is yours and operational.
